Facebook and Instagram Sweepstakes
FACEBOOK:
Eligibility:
The Participant must "Like" and "Share" one of the 529 Day Facebook Sweepstakes posts before the 12 PM PT deadline on May 28th, 2021.
Winners must claim the prize by May 31st, 2021 by private messaging Gift of College’s Facebook page.
This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older.
The following persons are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes: employees of Gift of College, their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household with them. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
To Enter:
The Sweepstakes begins on May 17th, 2021 at 12 PM PT and ends on May 28th, 2021 at 12 PM PT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible participants can enter by liking and sharing one of the 529 Day Facebook Sweepstakes posts. The contest allows only one entry per post per person for consideration.
Winner Selection:
At 5:29 PM PT on each day starting May 24th through May 28th, 2021, one winner will be randomly selected (through a random number generator) from all eligible entries received within the Sweepstakes Period.
Winner Notification and Alternate Winners:
On each day starting on May 24th through May 28th, 2021, around 6 PM PT, the Gift of College Facebook page will post a status announcing the daily winner, asking them to direct message the page to claim their prize. The winners will have until 11:59 PM PT on May 31st, 2021, to respond.
A prize may be awarded to an alternate potential winner (selected in another random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries) if the original winner does not claim the prize by the May 31st, 2021 deadline or does not meet other eligibility requirements listed above.
Prizes:
Five winners will be selected at random to each receive a $100 Gift of College Card and a copy of the book
Route 529: A Parents Guide to Saving for College and Career Training with 529 Plans
. Gift of College gift cards can be redeemed into almost any 529 college savings or ABLE Plan, or to pay toward student loans!
Odds:
The odds of winning the $100 Gift of College card and book depends on the total number of eligible entries received between the sweepstakes time frame. No purchase necessary.
Publicity:
Except where prohibited by law, by entering, winning, and accepting the Gift of College 529 Day Sweepstakes prize pack, entrants grant Gift of College and its designees the right to publicize the Entrant's first and last name and submission text for external usage.
